Hello! My name is Kathryn Griffin. After many years living all across Texas, I have finally come 'home' so to speak. Originally from Eldorado, I am so excited about the year and am proud to be part of the Eldorado Eagle family!

Prior to coming to Eldorado, I attended Texas Tech University where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and became a certified PK-6th teacher with an ESL Supplemental Certificate. After graduation, I worked at Marble Falls ISD as support staff. This included doing everything from substituting to intervention. From there, I was Lead Teacher at Head Start in New Boston, Texas for approximately 2years. Now, after deciding that it was time for a change of pace, I moved back to Eldorado, my hometown. I have been living in Eldorado fo approximately 3 1/2 years now. Most of which I've spent with family from the area, my three cats and substitute teaching at Eldorado Elementary. This year I will be teaching 2nd Grade Math. Although I have been part of Eldorado Elementary the last couple of years, I am beyond excited  to 'officially' be an Eldorado Eagle and I look forward to educating and making a difference in the lives of the children of this community
